Aurifil Thread is made in Italy using the best Cotton Mako. This 100% long stapled Egyptian cotton thread is known for it's high sheen, superior strength and low lint. Aurifil is machine washable and colorfast. It comes in 3 wts and 168 colors, perfect for all sewing. Available weights are 50 wt, 40 wt and 28 wt. I carry most 50 wt solid colors and variegateds. 40 wt and 28 wt would be special order.

Made from the cream of the crop cotton in Egypt, King Tut Quilting ThreadTM is 100% Extra Long Staple (ELS) Egyptian cotton. Only a small percentage of Egyptian cotton is classified as Extra Long Staple. The staple fibers are 10% longer than Long Staple cotton which means less lint and extra strength. Sixteen beautiful variegated colors, each with a one inch color-change interval, means the colors will flow through your quilt.
